Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your YogaTimer subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and prevents any further renewals.
To cancel:
- Sign in and go to your Account page.
- Click Manage Subscription. You will be taken to the secure Stripe billing portal.
- Click Cancel plan and confirm.
You will keep access to Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that date, your account reverts to the Free tier and no further payment will be taken.
2. Statutory 14-day cooling-off period
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a purchase of a digital service and receive a full refund within 14 days of the initial subscription date, provided you have not started using the service.
Important: by starting to use YogaTimer (for example, logging in to the paid dashboard or saving a sequence) during the 14-day period, you expressly agree that the service is being supplied immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your right to a refund once you start using the paid features. This is required by law for on-demand digital services.
If you have paid for a subscription but have not yet used any paid features, email support@yogatimer.co.uk within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full within 14 days of the request.
3. Refunds outside the cooling-off period
Once the 14-day period has passed, or once you have started using paid features, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months or unused portions of a yearly plan.
Exceptions where we will consider a refund:
- Duplicate or accidental charges caused by a technical error on our side.
- Extended outages of the service (more than 72 continuous hours) directly attributable to us.
- Any other case where refusing a refund would breach your statutory rights as a consumer.
To request a refund under these exceptions, email support@yogatimer.co.uk with your account email and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
4. Yearly plans
If you cancel a yearly plan mid-term, your access continues until the end of the paid year. We do not refund the unused portion of a yearly plan outside the 14-day cooling-off period.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Refunds typically arrive within 5-10 working days depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Account deletion
Cancelling your subscription is separate from deleting your account. If you also want your personal data removed, delete your account from the Account page after cancelling. Deletion is instant and permanent.
7. Contact
Refund requests and questions: support@yogatimer.co.uk. Please include your account email in your request.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
